Dear
Friends,
It's
hard to believe it's already the end of August! I hope your
summer has been full of love and fun. This month I traveled
to Chicago to attend Sonia Choquette's Sixth Sensory Certification.
While I was there I had the opportunity to meet in person my first
teachers, Sonia and Debra Grace, and one of my first intuition students,
Jenna Avery. As many of you know, I have been offering stand
alone readings as part of my practice for the past year, but I sometimes
choose not to read again for some of my clients as soon as they
would wish. So, it is my great pleasure to recommend Jenna as an
excellent intuitive reader. Please visit my links and resources
page on my website to contact her---just click on the link at the
bottom right of this page.
For
the fall I am happy to introduce a small support group for those
with awakening intuitive gifts. If you live in the Portland
area, and are interested in attending this group once per month,
please let me know. Also
in September, Kate Kriynovich and I are once again offering our
Attract Your Ideal Mate class at a new time earlier in the evening
for those of you on the east coast. Please click on the link
in the side bar for more details.
In
the past month I've had several questions from my clients about
how to manage the huge changes in our bodies, emotions, belief systems,
and relationships as we open more and more to our intuition and
our spiritual gifts. I'm including three essays on the subject
that I hope you will enjoy.

Manifestation
and The Chakras
Some
of my clients are surprised by the great changes that take place
in their lives after they have committed to the creative manifestation
process. When we have a strong foundation it is relatively
easy and graceful to manifest what we want. But, if our foundation
isn't big enough to support our dreams (and sometimes our dreams
are huge!) then what can happen first is that our foundation is
reconstructed. It can feel like our lives are falling apart
and that we are stepping backward, but if we trust this process
life usually turns out even better than before. This process
can be described in terms of the chakra system, and in particular
our first three chakras.

Changing
our Relationships with Our Family
When
we begin awakening to our spiritual gifts and our soul nature, our
relationships with our family and friends tend to undergo a dramatic
shift which can be painful and confusing, especially if the spiritual
gifts are completely new or not supported by our family. We
are redefining ourselves as individuals and undergoing shifts in
our understanding of how the world works. While this process
can be disconcerting, it will eventually resolve itself so that
we have the support and community we need, sometimes from the very
people we thought would not support us. Knowing a little about
the mechanics of what is happening in our relationships can help.

Are
You in a Confusing Conflict with a Fellow Spiritual Seeker?
When
we find our new community of Spiritual Seekers, we may expect not
to have the same relationship issues and conflicts we had in the
past, especially with others we thought to be self-aware.
We can feel disillusioned and unsure of ourselves when conflict
does arise. Here's how to turn a conflict with your new friend
into an opportunity for increased awareness and healing, and when
to step back if the conflict becomes unconstructive.
