What personal data I collect and why I collect it
I collect personal data, such as your name and email address when you subscribe to my mailing list and my blog.
The information above (“Personal Data”) that you are giving to me is voluntarily, and by you providing this information to me you are giving consent for me to use, collect and process this Personal Data. You are welcome to opt-out or request for that I delete your Personal Data at any point by contacting me.
If you choose not to provide me with certain Personal Data, you will not be able to purchase a product, receive my newsletter, or receive digital products.
I also collect transactional data, such as purchase information when you buy my ebooks or services, and technical data, such as information via cookies, when you visit my website.
If you leave comments on this site, WordPress collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to this website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you contact me through my contact form, I will receive your name, email address, and message, and use that information to respond to you. I keep contact form submissions to fulfill customer service requests and respond to inquiries, but I do not use the information submitted through my contact form for marketing purposes.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
This site does not use analytics.
Who I share your data with
Data that you provide to me is stored internally or through a data management system. Your Personal Data will only be accessed by those who help to obtain, manage, or store that information, or who have a legitimate need to know such Personal Data (i.e., my hosting provider, mailing list provider, mail sending system, spam filters, payment processors, or team members).
How long I retain your data
If you leave a comment on this site, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so my site can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on my website (if any), my site stores the personal information you provide in their your profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
However, note that I cannot control the retention policies of third parties. If you wish to have any third parties, including those to whom I have transmitted your data, delete that data, you will need to contact those third parties directly. You may request from me a list of all third parties to whom I have transmitted your data.
Where I send your data
Visitor comments are checked through Akismet, an automated spam detection service.
